80 Minutes in 80 Seconds:
The Rabbitohs moved into second spot with a comfortable win over the Raiders. The Rabbits were too classy, clinical and in control for most of the night. Despite losing John Sutton early, the Rabbitohs hit back with two tries in ten minutes to take an early lead. The Raiders’ woeful ball control led to a Bryson Goodwin four-pointer soon after and the game was already sliping away from them.
Four second half tries to the Rabbitohs, including a brace to re-born half Adam Reynolds, killed off the spluttering Green Machine.

Who Killed It?
It was the Adam Reynolds of old as he showed glimpses of last season in a welcome return to form.

Who Stank It Up?
The Raiders were their own worst enemy tonight, making twice as many errors as Souths. They were ordinary.

What Do I Need To Know?
Some friendly fire resulted in John Sutton leaving the field in the fifth minute with a medial ligament injury and he did not reappaear. Ben Te’o was placed on report for a dangerous tackle.

What The:
Video refs have been happy to hide under the “not enough evidence” call to overturn a decision this year, but Sami Sauiluma’s ‘try’ was one that should’ve seen red letters flash on the screen. However, with his Superman-like effort just to get over the line, maybe we can let this one slide.

Look Out Up Ahead:
Both sides have Sunday fixtures with the Raiders kicking off at home against the Warriors while Souths host the Knights in Cairns.
