Things I Need To Know:
The Raiders have named an unchanged line up following last week’s 26-12 loss to the Roosters. The Raiders have lost four of their last five and aren’t proving the usual impenetrable force at home that we are accustomed to seeing in previous years.
Justin Hodges returns to the Broncos line up that thrashed a lacklustre Manly last week after an ankle injury ruled him out. David Stagg has also been added to an extended bench. The Broncos have won only one of their past seven at Canberra, but are on a three-game win streak. The Raiders have lost four of their last five.
Reason To Watch:
After last week’s impressive display against the Eagles, who wouldn’t want to watch the Broncos? The possibility (certainty?) of a Ricky Stuart spray is also not to be missed.
Reason To Turn Away:
James Tedesco did and he was going to be paid millions so what’s your excuse for wanting to watch the Raiders?
Say What:
“You bring different boots, you bring your skins to wear under your jersey, you put Vicks on your chest and tough it out and play footy” Sam Thaiday on the challenge Brisbane face in the cold climate of Canberra.
Final Word:
Although Brisbane have had a woeful record away at Canberra, the Raiders’ form is looking just too average. Broncos by 18.
